The participants, an international group of teachers and students from Iceland, Finland, Poland, Romania and Hungary spent a whole day in our university centre. According to the schedule a factory visit at Jüllich Glas Holding constituted the first item of the program where the group was familiarized with the process of solar collector production and also was given the opportunity to have a global understanding of the profile, operation and sales strategy of the company. The daily program continued with a short cultural excursion in the city beginning with an impressive guided tour in and around Bory Castle to learn about the construction and history of the castle as well as about the past of the Bory family.

In the afternoon some traditional Hungarian lunch was offered followed by a power-point presentation to describe the structure and educational profile of Óbuda University. The visitors were also invited to a short tour to see how students work in the laboratories.

In the final part of the day the hosts and visitors set out for the second part of their sightseeing tour in the newly restored downtown area focusing on the Basilica, the Orb and the Garden of Ruins to percieve the atmosphere of our ancient historic city.

Hopefully the visit in Székesfehérvár agentively contributed to the successful accomplishment of the project work the participants were expected to prepare in the duration of the two-week long Innomarathon 2014 intensive programme.
